Case Study on 2010engineeirngdesign

Top 3 Mechanical Designs

The following designs show the experience of case study on drawing, manufacturing, animation process and movement of the mechanism and machine. The appropriate software is used to create top 3 mechanical designs.

  • Car hubcap design and Car Alloy wheel Design
    • In this project, the design of Car Alloy Wheel photos has been shown. All of the designs are created in Pro/ENGINEERING Wildfire 4.0 and SolidWorks 2005. This is making the manufacturing product and all the processes are followed by the instruction of Computer Aided Manufacturing System.
    • The Car hubcap design is created by my own ideas and it shows the modern design for rapid-prototyping system.

  • Animation Design
    The example of the animation design shows the process of the race car installation and movement design. This is just the example and it is not really good animation design and I just show my own idea of the creativity. I have learned using 3ds Max 8.0 software package for the animation. This is the powerful software to create the animation design and I recommend this to create the animation design for engineering purposes.

  • Bsc (Hons) Project (Developing Teaching Aids for Mechanical and Machine Design)
    This is the final year project for my dissertation. I have learned the movement of the mechanism in computer system. There are too many software to approach the learning mechanism and machine. In this project, I have created five mechanisms to learn the movement of the mechanism and machine, data of the displacement, velocity, acceleration and force from five mechanisms. This is learning mechanism and machine which is possible to use like a real mechanism for the teaching purposes.

    In this project, five mechanisms and machines include
      • Sterling Engine
      • Car suspension system
      • Multi-cylinder engine
      • Gear and belt drive system
      • Wiper mechanism

    All of the above mechanisms are created by CAD drawing format and which are used to test in Working Model Software Package. Working Model is useful to analyse the movement and measuring data from the mechanism and machine. The connection between Auto/CAD and working Model 2D is easily to upload and change the format for the design function.
